Food, Inc.

Food, Inc. (by Robert Kenner)

A must see film about our culture's food system.
Not a completely vegetarian film, but still a good
message to some of those "junk food" veggies out there.

Skinny Bastard!

"What's Good for the Bitch is Good
for the Bastard"

I can never get enough of books about vegetarianism and veganism. I picked up "Skinny Bitch" sometime last year and ate it up. It is supposedly for the girls, but like luna bars, that just doesn't make sense. It's a gold mine of information and is put in a very fun and clever way.
This month, "Skinny Bastard" came out, and even though I figured there would be a butt load of the same information, I just had to pick it up. It is a very quick read with some hard hitting, in your face, "boy" humor. The skinny girls do a great job hitting one right in the gut of how to live a healthier life by adopting a veg or vegan lifestyle.
Nice work Rory and Kim!

+ It is a sad fact that in this country, most doctors know almost nothing about nutrition. Doctors receive very little nutritional training in medical school.

"Nothing will benefit human health and increase
the chances for survival of life on earth as much
